Can you change the color of my tub & tile?

Yes! We can change from whatever color you have, to any color. We carry all plumbing manufacturer colors, so we can match your old tub and tile to a new fixture.

Do you need to see my bathtub?

If you are having just your bathtub, or your bathtub and the tile over it reglazed, we do not need to look at it to give you an estimate. Please give us a call and we can provide an estimate over the phone.

How does this compare with a bathtub liner?

The finish we apply to your tub is much harder than that of a bathtub liner or insert. Also, our finish is bonded directly to your tub, there are no air pockets or gaps between the finish and the porcelain where water can get trapped and become stagnant which in turn will lead to mold and mildew growing between the bathtub liner and your tub. This can cause a very annoying odor.

What if my tub has been reglazed or refinished before?

You can have your tub refinished again. In most cases the old finish needs to be removed before applying the new one. You have the option of removing it yourself, or we can remove it for you. There is an additional prep charge for us to remove the old finish.

How long does it take to refinish a bathtub & how long before I can use the new finish?

It usually takes about 2-3 hours for the reglazing work, and you can use the bathtub 24 hours after the work has been completed.

What kind of warranty do you provide?

We offer you a lifetime coverage with our work, for as long as you live in your home. It covers any defects in materials & workmanship.

Are the coatings safe?

We use the safest coatings available today. They have NO Lead, and NO Isocyanates.

Does my drain have to be removed?

No. Usually by the time you're ready to refinish your bathtub, your drain has been in place for many years. So removing it and replacing it can be quite a job and may cause other damage. So unless you have to remove it for other reasons, we recommend leaving it in. We do ask, however, that you remove the overflow assembly.

What if I have shower doors?

If you are going to replace the shower doors with new ones, the old doors should be removed along with the track prior to our arrival. This should also be done if you are going to remove the doors and not replace them. If you are going to keep the doors, the track may be left on.

How do I care for my new finish?

You will receive care instructions along with your warranty. Basically you want to treat the finish just like you would a new bathtub. We recommend non-abrasive cleaners be used, such as Lysol Tub & Tile Cleaner, to help maintain the high gloss and shine.
